[TUT][Hack]Change Product code without losing any data
Hi All
This is a tutorial for changing the phone product code and should work with Wave I/II/III
This tutorial works under 32-bit copy of Windows only
Steps:-
1.First of all download this file : http://www.mediafire.com/?yahd09ptzv3ubir
2.Extract the file with WinRAR & you will get 3 other files
a.QPST b.Revskills c.Samsung qualcomm driver
3.Grab your Wave and enter the code *#197328640#
Choose [8] Common >>>[7]Service Configuration>>>[2]DIAG Service Config.>>>[2]Usb DM/CP....Then exit this menu
4.Connect your Wave to the PC...If it asks for a Usb mode choose Usb Debugging
5.You will notice that your PC will detect a new hardware and will ask you for its driver>>>Use Samsung qualcomm driver
6.Install both QPST & Revskills
7.Use QPST to assign a COM Port for the phone


8.Now open Revskills and follow the Pics


to see current product code use Display NVItem and use 2757 as item no.

to change that code you need to write new one in Hex editior

INSTALL AND SETUP MIFLASH IN WINDOWS AND LINUX
IMPORTANT:
UPDATING THE STEPS OF THIS TUTORIAL LOSE ALL CHANGES AS RECOVERY SYSTEM
THAN THE ORIGINAL AND PROGRAMS INSTALLED UNLESS YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF
APPLICATIONS
Good!
If brickeamos the device can not access the internal memory and we have no ROM at that time in memory or can not access the recovery you have installed ... What can we do? ALL IS LOST? Nah
If we re-run our terminal without losing the data we had stored in the internal memory need:
- A Mi2 brick-style, but with the USB connector perfectly functional (if load our Mi2, means that it works).
- Operating system Windows or Linux based (if you have Windows XP stopping by the subject of my countryman Drivers Xiaomi Mi2 ).
- For Linux-based operating systems is very important to install Wine and Winetricks.
- JDownloader for downloading the necessary files faster.
- MiFlash Tool .
- A ROM FASTBOOT , are self-extracting files with ". exe".
- USB cable compatible with our Mi2.

STEP 1
We access FASTBOOT mode by pressing POWER and VOLUME DOWN simultaneously until you enter that mode.
STEP 2
Mi2 connect the computer with the USB cable and installed FASTBOOT drivers needed.
STEP 3
Unzip the downloaded files in two folders before respective'll call as we want as long as there are no spaces in those folders and folders to which it belongs.
STEP 4
Open "MiFlash.exe". If we make an error, you catch on. Dll in the folder "Qualcomm \ Driver \ serial" located where extraímos MiFlash and depending on the operating system (32-bit: i386 or 64bit: amd64) you copy the. Corresponding dll to "C: \ WINDOWS \ system32 ".
We closed and opened the "MiFlash.exe" and it should work without problems.
STEP 5
With the application of open MiFlash, we give the F5 or "Refresh" button will appear our device, but we get marked, we mark it.
STEP 6
We click on Browse and select the folder where you have extracted the ROM
Step 7
We click on the arrow directed downwards which is right next to "Browse" and click on "Advanced".

From the terminal we add the following repositories and install the following packages (pegad copies and line by line):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: nilarimogard/webupd8
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: webupd8team/unstable
sudo add-apt-repository ppa: langdalepl / gvfs-mtp
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install-android-tools adb fastboot android-tools-go-go-mtpfs mtpfs-unity
sudo aptitude upgrade
STEP 3
Go to the folder where you have downloaded the self-extracting ROM. Open the self-extracting Wine and extract to your desktop or a folder that contains no punctuation or other special characters.
STEP 4
Once successfully extracted from the terminal you access to the folder where we extracted the ROM and write from the same terminal the following command:
sudo. / flash_all_except_storage.sh or else you run the script you use sudo sh flash_all_except_storage.sh
Be patient while the ROM flashes (at most takes 5 minutes, but it takes less than in Windows).
Enjoy our Mi2, restarted properly and having started the system as usual, thinking that miracles exist and that we have to send the handset to China and wait forever until you resolve them and send it back.
